With election season swinging into full speed and all the “noise” from media sources, you may find it difficult to determine what is really happening with the economy and how it may impact your business. This presentation will discuss the national and regional data and provide analysis on what the following topics: Inflation, Interest Rates, Jobs, Labor Force, Population, Personal Income, Spending, Housing and Affordability and Risks to monitor that may not be covered by the media.
Our guest speaker will be Steve Scranton, Chief Economist for Washington Trust Bank. Steve holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation with over 40 years of investment and economic experience.
In Steve’s role as the Chief Economist for Washington Trust Bank he participates in public speaking engagements, as well as authoring multiple communications, to keep clients and the public informed of economic and investment market conditions. Throughout the Pacific Northwest, Steve is a well-known speaker on economic conditions.
